Leader - Core Division (Production)

CARDONE Industries is seeking a Leader to join its Core Supply department.

A core supply leader  is a key individual that initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve operational goals by driving continuous improvement efforts to maximize operational efficiency and to reduce cost.

Occupational Certifications:

Material Handling License
Quality Inspector Certification

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma/GED-Yes
Experience-1-3 Years Related Experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Oversees loading, un-boxing, sorting process, dock shipping, and receiving activities in a warehouse environment
-Ensures core credit deductions and customer core credit shipments are processed accurately and in a timely manner
-Trains, certifies and audits quality inspectors activities
-Develop and monitors departmental metrics and budget
-Responsible for corrective action on all mixed units from manufacturing and within the department
-Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
-Interprets company policies to workers and enforces company, safety government, environmental, quality and cleanliness regulations/policies
-Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve operational goals by driving continuous improvement efforts to maximize operational efficiency and to reduce cost
-Develops, maintains, monitors time and production records, departmental metrics, and equipment
-Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
